Interfaith Community Breakfast 2022

June 1, 2022

Creating a Place to Call Home

As Ontario is easing public health measures and restrictions, after an in-depth discussion, the organizing committee, Interfaith Grand River, decided to hold the Interfaith Community Breakfast 2022 on June 1, Wednesday, at Kitchener Market, an outdoor market in downtown Kitchener. More than 150 religious and community representatives attended, showing gratitude, mutual love, support and encouragement in the music and blessings of various religions. It was the first in-person interfaith community breakfast after the coronavirus outbreak. The Theme of this year's interfaith community breakfast was "Creating a Place to Call Home."

Venerable Chueh Fan, the Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto, was invited to participate and represent Buddhism to give encouragement and blessing.
