本片由知名導演曲全立執導。 他35歲時罹患腦瘤,被宣判僅剩半年生命,手術後雖留下「半聾半盲」後遺症,卻點燃了他用生命影響生命的使命感。 曲導曾獲國際大獎,被譽為「台灣首席3D導演」,2024年,他以《台灣超人》感動無數觀眾,締造十年來台灣紀錄片票房新高,名列影史第四。

Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Charlie Chu, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 35 and given only six months to live. Despite permanent impairments of partial hearing and vision after surgery, he embraced a mission to influence lives through film.
Known as Taiwan’s leading 3D director, Charlie has won international awards, and in 2024, Taiwan Unsung Hero touched countless hearts, becoming the highest-grossing Taiwanese documentary in the past decade and ranking 4th in Taiwan’s documentary box office history.
