佛光山開山祖師星雲大師說:「義工，是一種生命的奉獻，是一種力量和時間的布施，所以義工都是知行合一的菩薩行者。」為了讓新進義工能夠認識常住、增加信心、福慧雙全、自我提升，進而提升服務品質，舉辦「新進義工講習會」。

Fo Guang Shan’s founding master, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, said, “Volunteering is a form of dedication, a gift of one’s energy and time, and thus volunteers arepractitioners of the Bodhisattva path who unite knowledge with action.” To helpnew volunteers get acquainted with the monastic community, build confidence, gain both merit and wisdom, and improve themselves, the “New Volunteer Workshop” is being held to further enhance the quality of service.
