To all Buddhist communities across Canada 🇨🇦,

With great joy and a deep sense of gratitude, we warmly invite both Buddhist and non-Buddhist friends from across the country to gather in Ottawa at the Centennial Flame, in front of Parliament Hill, to witness a truly historic moment for Buddhism in Canada.

For over a century, Buddhist communities across the nation have worked tirelessly to share the teachings of the Buddha through community service and acts of compassion. Alongside these efforts, we have united in a historic campaign to establish Canadian Buddhist Heritage Month. Today, we are humbled to see these sincere efforts culminate in this national gathering.

As part of this historic occasion, a special program will be held within the Parliamentary precinct (Room 200)—marking a significant milestone in recognizing the contributions of Buddhist communities to Canadian society. Following the ceremony, we will gather at the Centennial Flame for a Public Buddha Bathing ritual and a Walk for Peace, accompanied by cultural performances that reflect the rich diversity of Buddhist traditions.

Monks and nuns representing the Theravāda, Mahāyāna, and Vajrayāna traditions, along with lay communities from coast to coast, will gather in unity on this special day. This will be a powerful expression of harmony, inclusivity, and our shared aspiration for peace.

We warmly invite families, friends, and well-wishers of all backgrounds to join us in Ottawa as we celebrate this milestone toward the official recognition of Canadian Buddhist Heritage Month.

Let us walk together in peace, mindfulness, and kindness.

致全加拿大佛教界及各界友人：

我們懷著無比的喜悅與深深的感恩，誠摯邀請全國各地的佛教徒與非佛教朋友，齊聚渥太華國會山莊前的百年聖火（Centennial Flame），共同見證加拿大佛教發展史上一個極具歷史意義的重要時刻。

一個多世紀以來，加拿大各地佛教團體持續不懈地透過社會服務與慈悲實踐，弘揚佛陀教法。同時，我們亦攜手推動「加拿大佛教文化傳承月」的歷史性倡議。今日，我們滿懷謙卑的心，見證這份共同努力匯聚成為全國性的盛大集會。

此次歷史性活動的一部分，將於國會大樓園區（200室）舉行特別儀式，標誌著佛教團體對加拿大社會貢獻獲得重要肯定的里程碑。儀式結束後，與會大眾將移師百年聖火前，參與公開浴佛儀式與為和平而行（Walk for Peace），並欣賞展現佛教多元文化特色的精彩文藝演出。

屆時，來自上座部（Theravāda）、大乘（Mahāyāna）與金剛乘（Vajrayāna）傳統的僧眾，以及橫跨加拿大全國各地的在家信眾，將齊聚一堂，共同展現和合共融的精神與對和平的共同願景。
